Burnham Caves, Mifflin County PA
By Andy Hagerty
The sleepy little Steel mill town of Burnham is nestled on the other side of a little hill to the north of Lewistown. Home to about 2000 people it is a cozy little place. There even used to be a little amusement park called Kishacoquillas (pronounced Kish-e-kō-kwil´-lis) Park. You would never expect that not one, but two stories of murder and mayhem appear to have a ghostly presence.
The first places two men being shot to death and hidden in a cave. The reportedly haunt the cave to this day.
The second is located across town and involved a young boy getting run down while riding his bike. He was supposedly hid in a cave so the driver was able to get away.
There is not a whole lot of information on these two events online. We are seeking more knowledge on these locations and hope to be able to update this listing shortly.
