What to expect when you're expecting...an investigation that is!

So you’ve submitted your information about yourself and what is going on around you that you just can’t quite seem to explain. What do you do now? The best thing you can do is start journaling your activity. When something occurs write it down in a notebook/journal with the date, approx. time of occurrence, what the weather was like, who witnessed the event, and last but not least what occurred in as much detail as possible. You don’t have to write an essay, use bullet points if you want to, but just provide every detail you can. These details may seem insignificant but they can tell us big things once one of our investigators gets a chance to review your journal of activity. Now that you know what to do I’m sure you’d like to know what we’re going to do.

Review
* The information you gave us will be reviewed by the team and you will be contacted if we feel your situation warrants an investigation. We help everyone we can and cover as much area as possible; however, if we feel we are too far from your location we will make every effort to connect you to a team closer to you. If you think of anything you forgot to include or something changes for you feel free to use the contact form and update us anytime. We are also happy to answer any questions you have as well.
Initial Interview
* NightWatch will contact you via the information you provided and typically we will conduct a phone interview. Please make sure you have quiet uninterrupted time set aside for this call as we want you to tell us everything you have been experiencing in as much detail as you can remember which is harder if you are rushing, stopping and starting conversation, or we need to make multiple calls. We may set up an investigation at the end of this phone call or it may be taken back to the team to be discussed before choosing a date.
Initial Investigation
*** Please note we will NOT come with a film crew! If you are looking to be on TV we are not the group you are looking for!***
*We will arrive at your home with our investigators and gear in tow. We ask that you have as few people in your home as possible but we will never ask you to be alone. The quieter a home is the easier it will be for us to investigate and we will be able to get the best evidence for you. If we arrive and there are too many people in the home we may need to leave as conducting an investigation in that environment typically leads to contaminated evidence and is not a productive use of your time or ours. Help us help you!
* Our lead investigator and one other investigator will follow you as you give us a tour of the “hot spots” or areas of activity in your home. While we do this our other investigators will bring in gear, set up command central (where we’ll have all of our gear at), and then begin doing baseline measurements of EMF and temperature in each room of your home. If there is anywhere you do not wish us to go please tell us before we start the tour, we respect your space and privacy.
* After the tour while the other investigators finish up their baselines the lead investigator will sit down with the client and go over some brief paper work and verify some information you provided us so far.
* Once baselines are complete our investigators will break off into teams (always in radio contact) and we will begin investigating. You are welcome and encouraged to attend any rotation you wish. This is your place, we have nothing to hide, and most importantly the spirits may feel more comfortable interacting with someone who lives/works in the location over a bunch of strangers.
After the investigation
* After the investigation is complete we’ll pack up our gear and head home. We will begin evidence review promptly in the days following the investigation. We will contact you within two weeks to update you on our progress with your evidence and set up a date for the reveal. If you have any specific questions or anything new or frightening occurs don’t hesitate to contact us any time!
* We will typically meet at the location investigated (though under rare circumstances other arrangements can be made) and sit down and reveal any evidence captured via our laptop. We will provide you with a DVD of clips of anything captured during our investigation; we will also provide you with a full evidence report for your own records.
* We will discuss the next steps going forward with your case during the reveal. Many cases require more than one investigation any possibility of this will be discussed during the reveal as well.
